Terms and Conditions
This page makes up part of BooBoo Burlesque's terms and conditions and by ordering by telephone, internet or at parties/events and making payment, it is deemed you have read and agreed our terms and conditions herein.
All in stock lingerie and accessories orders will be despatched within 3-5 working days in normal trading times, however we will let you know if items are out of stock and advise you of the new delivery date.
Please bear in mind that especially busy times of the year are Christmas and Valentine's Day when it may take a little longer to dispatch your order.
Delivery within the UK will be by Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery and will require a signature. Because of this, we cannot follow instructions for leaving parcels outside etc. Your post office should leave a card for you if they cannot deliver your parcel. If you do not contact the post office within 7 days to arrange re-delivery, the post office will automatically return your parcel to us. We can re-send your parcel but this will incur further postage costs.
Overseas orders will be sent by Royal Mail International Signed For delivery which can take up to 3 weeks for delivery.
Standard Postage & Packing charges:
Please note Corsets and heavier items will incur more postage - this will be entered automatically at the checkout.
Standard UK £2.25
Overseas parcels are sent by a fully tracked and suitably insured Royal Mail International service which is considerably more expensive than standard mail, but is much more secure.
Royal Mail has mislaid my order
Royal Mail state an item is not missing until 15 days after posting.
If an order is shipped by us, using the Royal Mail's Recorded Delivery service does not arrive, you must wait 15 working days from the date of posting before considering the item lost.
After this time please contact us to obtain the recorded delivery number and either check online at http://track.royalmail.com/ or with your local sorting office. It is often the case that missing orders are just awaiting collection/re-delivery instructions.
If the item is considered lost by the Royal Mail, we will then go through the process of claiming from Royal Mail. Please complete any paperwork sent to you by Royal Mail - if this is not returned to Royal Mail we will be advised and you will be liable to be charged for any replacement items or refund.
Returned items must be in their original packaging, with labels still attached and must not have been worn.
Items that have been used, cleaned, damaged or soiled; items returned without full tags and packaging; items that are not odour free, including the smell of smoke and perfume; will not be refunded and will be returned to you together with an invoice for postage.
Please note, for hygiene reasons, we do not accept the following as returned items under any circumstances; knickers, thongs, g-strings, stockings, tights, nipple tassels or pasties and tape.
If for some reason, you need to return part or all of your order, please follow the instructions outlined below.
- Items must be returned and postmarked within 14 days of receipt. Should an item be returned after 14 calendar days, we will have no obligation to refund.
- Please enclose a copy of your original invoice with your returned item and write on the reason for the return (eg too big, wrong colour etc).
- Obtain a proof of posting but remember this is not proof of delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for items that go missing in the post which have been returned to us. If items are missing it is the customer's responsibility to claim from the Royal Mail and we will help with their investigation enquiries.
- Please contact us directly if a replacement is required and this will only be dispatched once the original item has been received back at BooBoo Burlesque.

Should a product be faulty, please let us know immediately and we will happily refund or exchange it for you. You should let us know as soon as possible via email, within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery and before returning the item. You must advise us the product is faulty before it is worn.
We cannot accept goods back once the item is worn and tags have been removed.
We shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, negligence, abnormal working conditions, wilful damage, misuse or alteration or repair of the ordered goods without our approval.
Any returned goods that we receive which are outside of this Returns Policy will be defined as 'Disputed'. Such Disputed items will not be refunded or exchanged and a reason for this decision will be provided if requested. We are happy to re-ship such disputed items back to you at a cost to yourself and we must be informed of re-shipment requirements within 7 days of returning the goods to us.
If you are returning a package please use recorded post or obtain a certificate of posting for your own protection, but please note proof of posting is not proof of delivery.
We accept no losses whatsoever for items missing in the post which have been returned to us. If items are missing it is the customer’s responsibility to claim from Royal Mail and we will help them with their investigation enquiries.
We occasionally have promotions. These are not indefinite and are valid until the date shown. Any promotions can only be used once and not in conjunction with any other special offer.
We reserve the right to refuse any order from any persons without having to provide an explanation.

How to Pay for Your Order
Our checkout is held on a completely secure area of our site and payment is through Paypal's secure site.
Please check your order summary details to ensure the items and invoice and delivery addresses are correct. Should there be any errors then please contact us immediately and put in writing by e-mail. Please be sure to include your name, address and order details when contacting us. You will receive an e-mail when your order has been amended.
We accept Visa Delta, Mastercard, Visa and your bank’s debit cards. Your account will be charged on the day of the order in pounds sterling at that day's exchange rate, if ordering from outside the UK.
Please be advised BooBoo Burlesque is a UK Store and prices are in Pounds Sterling.
For your protection BooBoo Burlesque will never share your information or pass your details on to any third parties for marketing purposes.
Items remain the property of BooBoo Burlesque until paid in full.
Our shipping and returns policy makes up part of these terms and conditions. By placing an order with us, it is deemed you have read and agree with our terms and conditions and all pages made up thereof.
