Size Does Matter!
It may be obvious, but it’ll make your choices easier if you first find out her size.
Don’t ask her directly because you’re unlikely to get an honest answer and the worst thing you can do is pick something gorgeous that’s too small or too big.
So, have a sneaky peep in her underwear drawer and make a note of her bra and knicker size. If you can’t find out her underwear size, how about looking for a dress size and picking nightwear or loungewear which comes in a range of sizes and is less “specific”.
Corsets
Corsets are based on waist size and length and whilst we do recommend a waist measurement to be taken, you can follow these simple guidelines if you really would prefer to select the gorgeous garment yourself.
1. Find out her dress size - look at a few of her clothes as these do vary from shop to shop.
2. Then find out how tall she is - corsets are also based on length. See below for more details.
3. Find her dress size on the table below and follow the column down to the CORSET WAIST SIZE.

4. Our Dita range of corsets are cut longer in the body and are designed to cover the hips. The Ella range are cut shorter,
sit abover the hips and have a lower bustline - suitable for flirty shapes and petite ladies.
5. If you are choosing an underbust corset (also known as a cincher or waspie), this will cinch her waist in and works on the
same measuring principles as an ordinary corset.

Don’t worry if you do select the wrong size, you are covered by our returns policy and providing the corset is returned to us unworn, unwashed and complies with our returns policy, within 14 days of receipt, you can exchange it for the correct size. Please allow 5 working days for the garment to reach us.
Colour
What kind of colours does she generally steer towards? Are there mainly pastel colours like pale blue or pink, or does she opt for jewel colours such as purple or dark red? Get an idea for what she likes (not just what you’d like to see her in!) so you’re heading in the right direction.
